چکیده

Cooperative relaying is a promising technique for Long Term Evolution Advanced (LTE-A) networks to satisfy high throughput demand and support heterogeneous communication services with diverse quality-of-service (QoS) requirements. Optimal relay selection, power allocation and sub carrier assignment scheme under a total power constrain is proposed for a Qos aware resource allocation for multi user cooperative OFDMA network. The relay selection, power allocation and subcarrier assignment problem are formulated as a joint optimization problem with the objective of maximizing system throughput. User at the cell edge and shadowing degrade the signal quality, hence cooperative relaying is very promising solution to provide better throughput and coverage extension. Combining OFDMA and cooperative relaying assures high throughput enhancement for user at cell edge .Throughput enhancement problem is solved by two level dual composition and sub gradient method. To further reduce the computational cost, low complexity suboptimal schemes are also proposed in this work. Simulation result indicates that the proposed scheme will guarantee the users Qos requirement and maximize the system throughput.

Multiuser Radio Resource Allocation for Multiservice Transmission in OFDMA-Based Cooperative Relay Networks

The problem of multiservice transmission in OFDMA-based cooperative relay networks is studied comprehensively. We propose a framework to adaptively allocate power, subcarriers, and data rate in OFDMA system to maximize spectral efficiency under the constraints of satisfying multiuser multiservices’ QoS requirements. Specifically, first we concentrate on the single-user scenario which considers ...

Energy-efficient resource allocation for OFDMA-based two-way relay channel with physical-layer network coding

Physical-layer network coding (PNC) is a novel cooperative technique for two-way relay channel (TRC), where two users exchange information via intermediate relay node(s). On the other hand, the issue of green communications to reduce energy consumption has recently started to arouse much attention. This article studies the energyefficient resource allocation problem for orthogonal frequency div...

Subcarrier Allocation Algorithm for an OFDMA Relay Network with Multicells

In this paper, a new subcarrier allocation algorithm is proposed for an OFDMA relay network with multicells. In the proposed algorithm, subcarriers are allocated to users and relays so as to maximize the overall sum of the achievable rate under fairness constraints. Fairness constraints are imposed on the minimum rate requirement of users and the maximum power of base stations and relays. Simul...

Resource Allocation for QoS-Aware OFDMA Cellular Networks with Cooperative Relaying

This paper proposes a QoS-aware resource allocation scheme, called as cooperative resource allocation scheme (CoRA), for relay-based OFDMA systems with both QoS and Best-effort (BE) users. Using CoRA, cooperative transmission between the Base-station (BS) and the Relay-station (RS) is employed to fulfill the requirements of QoS users. Moreover, resource scheduling is allowed not only at the BS ...
